Rewards for schools at Carillon Court
ONE lucky Loughborough school is in with the chance of winning up to £300 worth of prizes after a shopping centre relaunched a new token reward scheme.
Thorpe Acre Junior School, Booth Wood School and Robert Bakewell School are all in the running after they linked up with Carillon Court Shopping Centre for the return of its Rewards for Schools scheme.
Shoppers to Carillon Court who spend £10 or more in participating stores will be given a token which they will then be able to drop into one of three boxes corresponding to the school they wish to vote for.
The boxes will be located outside Claire’s and the participating stores are; The Fragrance Shop, 3 Store, Claire’s, EE, H Samuel, The Body Shop, New Look, Moda, WH Smith, The Works, Thornton’s, and The House of Ashley Peake.
Baljit Kooner, Carillon Court Centre Manager, said: “We’re so pleased to announce that for the second year running we have the chance to give one of the schools in our town a boost for the year. A prize fund of up to £300 will ensure that our Rewards for Schools scheme helps a significant part of the local community yet again!”
“Carillon Court is at the heart of Loughborough’s community and we welcome many families with school age children through our doors. This was really popular with our shoppers last year; everyone agrees it’s great to give our shoppers the chance to help the community at the same time as doing their regular shopping!”
Ms Beaumont, Thorpe Acre Junior School Headteacher, said: “We are delighted to be invited to be a part of the Rewards for Schools initiative. This will be a really great way to boost resources for the school and get parents involved.
“We hope that all our families at Thorpe Acre will visit Carillon Court Shopping Centre and support the stores involved and the school at the same time. We should all benefit a great deal!”
“The amazing prize on offer would be a welcome bonus and would be very appreciated by Thorpe Acre Junior School.”
