Pandora bracelet up for grabs in echo competition
A PANDORA bracelet is up for grabs to mark the official opening of the new £250,000 Loughborough store which is dedicated to the global jewellery giant.
The new Pandora store in Carillon Court Shopping Centre will be officially opened on Saturday April 19 at 9 am with Loughborough MP Nicky Morgan there to cut the ribbon.
To celebrate the opening, one lucky Echo reader is set to win one of the distinctive charm bracelets popular with some of the world’s biggest stars such as US pop superstar Taylor Swift and former Spice girl and fashion icon Victoria Beckham.
At the event itself, which will see the store transformed by a dedicated interior design team, there will also be the chance for shoppers who spend £75 or over to take their chance with the beautifully decorated Pandora tower.
In each drawer which makes up the tower, there will be a Pandora prize for each lucky shopper to take away with them.
The new store, which has created six new jobs, has been opened in partnership with senior bosses at Tylers in Carillon Court who secured the deal with the Danish jewellery chain.
It is a major coup for the family behind the department store which has been a mainstay of Loughborough’s high street for more than ninety years.
Mat Tyler, one of Tylers’ Directors, said: “We are thrilled with the look of the new store which has already attracted a lot of attention from shoppers.
“It looks incredibly well designed, modern and is really inviting. It’s a fantastic addition to Carillon Court and brilliant to have next door to Tylers.
“It is something we have been working on for almost a year and is the first time, in our 92-year history, that we extended outside of our existing building.
“We did it because there was such a demand for the Pandora items we stocked in Tylers.
“The feedback from shoppers so far is that they are delighted to see an entire store dedicated to this hugely popular brand.”
Pandora jewellery is sold in more than 80 countries on six continents and has approximately 1,100 concept stores worldwide.
Baljit Kooner, Carillon Court Manager, said: “The new Pandora store looks amazing and it is a fantastic footfall driver which is set to benefit all the great businesses we have at Carillon Court.
“It has been terrific to work with Tylers to secure the Pandora brand for the town. It not only has the power to encourage more shoppers but also to attract new, big names to Loughborough which can only be positive for the whole community.”
