Have a heart with Carillon Court

Carillon Court Shopping Centre, Loughborough is working in association with local charity; Charnwood Toy Appeal this year to provide much needed gifts for children this Christmas.

Have a Heart will launch in the centre on Tuesday 2nd December at Carillon Court and will end on 7th December. Volunteers from Charnwood Toy Appeal will be in the centre on Sunday 7th December to receive the donations to ensure every child has a Christmas to remember and the Centre Management Suite will represent a ‘donation station’ for the duration of the week and lead up to the 7th.

Carillon Court Centre Manager, Baljit Kooner commented: “The Have a Heart campaign is a fantastic initiative, Christmas is a time for joy and a time for giving and this campaign will certainly provide that for many children, but your help is needed, we therefore encourage the community to get involved and give something back this Christmas – thank you in advance for your generosity.’

The campaign is really simple and easy to support, all we ask is that our shoppers visit the Christmas tree located within the centre from Tuesday 2nd December, where dozens of tags will detail the age and gender of a child that they can then buy a gift for. Shoppers can buy a gift for that child in our retail stores and take it unwrapped, along with the tag to the Centre Management Suite located in the blue doors opposite Topshop, or at the Charnwood Toy Appeal stand in the centre on Sunday 7th December.

Sue Hibbert, Volunteer at Charnwood Toy Appeal commented: “We are delighted to be part of the Have a Heart campaign this year and would like to extend our thanks in advance for all the kind donations of Carillon Court shoppers. These gifts will truly make a difference to children across the festive period, ensuring everyone has a smile this Christmas.”
